Melissa Wolney | The Autoimmune Coach

About Melissa

Why This Work Matters To Me

About fifteen years ago, I experienced symptoms so intense, including numbness and tingling in my extremities, that doctors initially thought I was having a heart attack. Months of testing and uncertainty followed before I was ultimately diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease.

Beyond the diagnosis came confusion and fear, along with the realization that managing an autoimmune condition requires far more than a prescription. It took years to understand my body, navigate fluctuating symptoms, and learn to respond with compassion instead of frustration.

I know what it feels like to search for answers and still feel off.

I also know the relief that comes when a plan finally makes sense.

I do not just study autoimmune conditions. I live with one. That lived experience shapes my work today and my commitment to helping other women feel supported, informed, and steady as they move forward on their health journey.

Most women navigating autoimmune conditions have already done a great deal of research.

They have eliminated foods, tried supplements, and adjusted their routines.

Often the missing piece is not more information. It is knowing how to implement that information in a practical and sustainable way.

You are not your diagnosis, and your body is not failing you.

With the right strategy, it is possible to learn how to work with your body instead of fighting it.

My Approach

Information alone is not enough. What creates change is structure and consistency.

That is why I use the Autoimmune Reset Framework, a clear and adaptable process designed to bring direction to your health.

Through this framework we:

• Assess what may be driving symptoms
• Align a plan with your energy, daily life, and goals
• Build sustainable habits using behavior-based strategies
• Adapt as your body and circumstances change

The focus is steady progress that feels manageable and sustainable.

Health Is More Than Lab Results

Autoimmune conditions affect more than lab results. They influence energy, confidence, identity, and daily life.

Too often, women are told to reduce stress or eat better without clear guidance on how to make lasting change.

You deserve clarity.
You deserve structure.
You deserve compassion.

And a process that evolves as your body and life change.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not coaching or researching, I prioritize time with family, reading, and refining the routines that help me stay steady. Living with an autoimmune condition has taught me the importance of managing stress intentionally and developing habits that support the body rather than strain it.

Those values shape both how I live and how I work.
